What We Are Learning:

Language Arts:

*Rhyming words

 *Letters and sounds

 * Making connections

*retelling stories to include beginning, middle and end

* Identifying the front, back and title of  books

* Sounding out words (example: c+a+t=cat)

Math:

*Extending Patterns (red, blue, red, blue….)

*Counting to 100

*Writing and recognizing numbers from 1 to 20.

* Sorting objects by color and size

Writing:

*Writing sentences using the correct capitalization, spacing and punctuation.

* Illustrating sentences using at least 5 colors, a background and details.

* Writing both first and last name and date each day.
